ABOUT THE BRIDGE
The Bridge Communty Centre, located in Ore, was built in 2006 to serve the local community. With inspiring design and excellent facilities, it provided a wonderful shared space for community use.
In 2018, Parchment Trust was successful in a bid to take ownership of the centre, after it encountered financial difficulties. Due to unforeseen legal complications and the coronavirus pandemic, this process has taken considerably longer than anticipated and is ongoing.
OUR AIM
To bring the Bridge Community Centre back to life, to serve the local community and build on the history of the building.
In line with our core values of community presence, community participation, choice, personal development and respect, we intend to involve our service users in all areas. We plan to emphasise employment skills and independence.
We hope to complete the legal transfer and re-open to the community as soon as possible.
