Hot wheels! - Charlie
'The black bus was was falling apart, the hinges were falling off the doors and some of the seatbelts were not very good. You shut the boot and it kept sticking.
The new Bus looks Good. I love the tinted windows. I like how the mirrors fold in. We have talk sport in it. It probably works better because its a younger vehicle - the old one would be like chitty chitty bang bang! The seats are more comfortable. The gear stick probably works better. We probably have a new manual and insurance too. It probably goes faster and looks better than the old bus.
We gave it a wash Monday afternoon. We hosed it down and washed it afterwards with the buckets and sponges. Everyone mucked in to help and the staff gave us a hand.'

Medway trip - Sean, Rebecca, Bridget
'We went on a boat, on the river Medway. It was a green and yellow boat, which was quite big. We saw loads of swans, which bite you. We saw people in kayaks, and other boats. We got to drive it! We took turns driving the boat. It was fun! We got a certificate at the end. We got to do the lock, which is a gate which lets water in and out. We have to get these metal handles, and turn it to make the spring come up. and then we have to push this big metal wooden thing and the water rushed out and rose up until the boat could leave the gate on the other side. Simon got lost on the way. We were following him because we thought he knew the way but he didn’t. We saw 4 kingfishers, mallards. We had lunch sitting on the bank, it was green and the water went fast when we went to do the last lock, it was like a waterfall.'
- Sean Rebecca and Bridget
Bird is the word - Charlie
'Karina Simon and Kyle found it outside on the mud. We think that it fell off of the roof. It was only a baby one. It was tiny. We made sure that it was ok and brought in inside. Then they put it inside a box. Everybody went around to the office area, and they were all shocked. Teresa hates birds, and she was very scared and surprised by it when she went around the back of the reception area.
Me, Cherrie, Hannah and David took it with us to Bexhill vets. Wendy handed it over to a lady there and we left it with them. It was a sad experience because the bird had lost its mum and dad now.'
