Office Cleaner - Friary Gardeners - Closing Date Friday 1st October

 

We are a local registered charity providing forward thinking, high quality day services to people with learning and physical disabilities.

 

We are looking for a cleaner at our Friary Gardeners site on The Ridge in Hastings. This is a permanent contract for six hours per week, either weekend based or after hours on a weekday, paid at £9.11 per hour.

 

Duties will include:

 

  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors

  • Dusting ceiling, light fittings and furniture

  • Cleaning and sanitizing toilets

  • Emptying waste paper bins

  • Washing and drying windows

  • Liaising with line manager to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times

  • Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process

  • Informing your line manager of repairs that need to be done

Project Worker Roles

 

Could you support service users with horticultural tasks and activities in a nursery environment?  

 

Our Friary Gardeners team in Hastings provides high quality horticulture, plant sales and woodwork training.

 

We have an immediate opportunity to join our Friary Gardeners team. A full-time position is currently available, with guaranteed 37.5 working hours per week. The hours will be 8:00am to 4:00pm, with a half hour unpaid lunch break. Previous experience or an interest in horticulture is desirable.

 

 

Support Worker Roles

 

Could you support and care for others and make a difference every day?

 

Our Dedicated and Bespoke Service provides high quality, person-centred care. These services are provided on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis, both community and centre-based.

 

We have immediate opportunities to join our Dedicated and Bespoke team, as follows:  

 

  • 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 2:30pm

  • 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 12pm -2:00pm lunch cover

  • 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm

  • Enthusiastic and able to support service users on a 1:1 or small group basis

  • Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative

  • Able to provide personal care to service users, where necessary

  • Able to assist with manual transfers, where necessary

  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team
