Ligularia 'The Rocket' is a handsome perennial, bearing tall, black stems of bright yellow flowers over large, toothed foliage in summer. It's a fantastic choice for a bog garden or pond edge, and can also be grown in a mixed herbaceous border, as long as the soil doesn't dry out.
