Achillea can be mat-forming or upright perennials, mostly herbaceous, with sometimes aromatic, pinnately divided or simple and toothed leaves and flattened clusters of small, daisy-like flower-heads. Achillea millefolium 'Pretty Belinda' is a compact variety, well-suited to growing at the front of borders. The flowers are a rich pink and are produced in numerous flattened domes, that will prove a hit with pollinating insects. The feathery foliage is aromatic and it makes a pretty cut flower.
