Achillea can be mat-forming or upright perennials, mostly herbaceous, with sometimes aromatic, pinnately divided or simple and toothed leaves and flattened clusters of small, daisy-like flower-heads. 'Peggy Sue' is a compact, clump-forming, deciduous to semi-evergreen perennial with finely-divided, dark grey-green leaves and erect, branching stems bearing dense, flattened clusters of tiny, orange flowers from summer into autumn.
